Just checked your roster, you're stacked at CB and WR which I suspect means you are using them out of position (no issue with that) but it appears the sim with this code is going to be more realistic with injuries to lighweight speedsters getting hit by 300lb+ OL/DL.
Because you're loaded there, your DL and LB were paper thin to begin with. With no depth at DL you can't rotate your line often enough forcing them into playing the majority of the game. I think you need to try and off load a few WR and or CB and bulk up your depth at OL and DL.
i have the same number of LBs as you and one D-Linemen less, i wouldn't call that paper thin. the quality of my interior D-Line is questionable for sure, and i tried to adress it with the trade for domingo, who well busted for -13.
i have 2 out of 4 injured RBs and 3 out of 11 injured WRs, so i don't think the weight difference has a big impact.
Just trying to give you a different perspective. It's your team to run as you wish. It may be something to keep an eye on though? (with regards to lightweight players getting hammered when they play in the centre of the field where the big boys play)
That's how i understood you, i just wanted to share my expierence aswell. sorry if i sounded to harsh, english is not my first language.
Most of the time if i am crippled by injuries it's not the low weight positions like wr/cb, more like players from both lines. have not researched this with other teams, just the three teams i manage. My D-line is injuried for pretty much the entire season, my CBs picked up the injuries more recently, and if this trend continues maybe i am going to change my opinon more torwards yours.
