It's good for the individual health of a league - gets more people involved, deeper into the season. Overall, it's great for parity and inclusiveness.

For me and my individual game I'm Tony Vlachos from Survivor. I'm not hiding or under the radar with any one. If I don't find things to motivate me or elevate my emotions to match what's coming at me - I'm done. I'm pretty good at discerning who wants at me. If I was Johnny Cool aka chill mode I'd take Ls left and right and go 8-8 on loop.

99% of my comments are to drive me.

But, yeah, for the game the 8 teams work better for everyone.

Power Rankings after week 15 - Two teams well ahead of the rest of the League on the Admiral rankings. IF it goes to plan, it will be a heck of a Conference Final.


Gameweek 16: Playoff Picture

AFC: Admiral Football Conference

#1: Machu Pichu Incas will tie up the top seed, home field advantage and the all important bye week if they equal or better Berlin's result. They would've tied it up this week but surprisingly went down at home to the Hellraisers. With that being an Inter-Conference game, the Incas hold the edge on the Blitz by virtue of a better Conference record.

#2: Berlin Blitz unless they can better Machu Pichu's result

#3 and #4:

Dublin take the three seed with a tie or win
Bordeaux take the three seed with a win and Dublin loss
The Fields take the three seed with a win and losses for both Dublin and Bordeaux

London can win the Blighty division with a win at The Fields but cannot finish higher than the #4 seed.

Of these four only the top three are certain of a playoff spot.

Wild Cards:

Bordeaux/Dublin are guaranteed to either win the division or take the #5 slot

London and Oslo are currently #7 and #6 but are not guaranteed a playoff spot just yet as Freedom Monarx, Black Sea Reds, Loch Ness Monsters and Alabama Bam'a'Lam all sit on 7-8 records.

Theoretically 6 teams could finish on 8-8 records!, although Alabama go to Loch Ness so it won't be more than a 5 way split.

So the 7-8 teams are still alive at this point and 11 teams into seven berths just doesn't go.

NFC: Nelson Football Conference

#4: Tunguska eXplosion: A sixth division title is assured and they cannot go higher than 4.

#7: Bondai Beach Dudes are guaranteed at least the #7 seed if they can beat the Atlanteans at home. Should they lose Alcatraz Inmates could tie them on 9-7 if they can overcome the Florida Keys in Florida. Both would then be tied on 9-7, tied on 7-5 for Conference Record and have not played head to head this season. So the two would then be split by Common Opponents.

Division winners:

Down Under: Goes to the Cook Island Captains as they swept Bondai Beach in the regular season

Where on Eartth: Heaven Hellfire have had the division sewn up for a while

Island Outposts: Bermuda take the division and the #1 seed with a win over Newcastle. Should they lose and Florida lose to Alcatraz, then Azores could take the Division with a win.

If all three finish on 11-5 Florida drop to third in the division and the Azores and Bermuda would have to be split on Common opponents.

Eight teams are still alive and there is still the chance for all four teams from Island Outposts to go to the post season.

The 1 seed goes to Bermuda with a win, Florida if they get a better result than Bermuda. If both teams lose then we could have a five way tie at 11-5. I think it would then be between the Captains, Triangles and Atlanteans who could take the #1 seed

This is one of my greatest GM efforts of all-time with the sickest 1 and 1 rankings of all time (off/def) if you peep my team page and I have to exert an effort level and not rest. Put up coffee, blare some Makaveli and balance resting my players a bit vs. a fury against AI for even being in this game and not on bye.

It's a no benefit game and I shouldn't be here. In fact, it's a detriment and I know exactly what will happen. Rodriguez will get further dinged. Eh, f*** this. Game plan set. Off the thread and back next game.

You pin him and we're deep into over-time. Medium pass and especially Long = bye Felicia at this point. Engine is very touchy and that's a hot play I'm sure ran into rotation during the game.

Engine identifies, zaps him - safety and end of game.

Oh and unrelated to you.....throwing up endless middle fingers at the craziest non-bye.

Well played Clarets, the difference a good kicker makes. A cold windy day in Liverpool with a near thirty mile an hour cross wind had a massive impact on the final score.

It's a team game, and the best team on the day won. Good luck going forward.

I never even look at weather. It's will power/determination of my strat beating the other guy's strat.

I peeped your kicker, though. It's crazy that even a 92 accuracy slither of a window leaves open misses. I saw like a 75% somewhere and he should never miss a 38-yarder.
