Useful scrimmage Ray, got to take a look at plenty of second stringers and nice to see our Victory Bowl winning QB can still do a job.

I was pretty pleased with Saldana's second half efforts at QB. He should keep Spangles on his toes. I've been hawking WR Anthony Dwayne Harris to lots of teams without getting a bite - 5 catches for 111 yards and a TD, perhaps we should be keeping him.

Our late pick boomer CB hollenbeck was beat deep on the one play. He and his speee might be better reserved for a nickel or dime back playing the slot with some help over the top. Our DBs in general have lost a step and some depth. We run a press defense and that might get exposed a bit more if we can’t stay healthy.

Good luck those are some decent stats for a sub 60 accuracy QBs and sub 30 bump wr

Got to run off 94 plays, however, I got work to do on offense. LB fed me with that QB and our scoring was too low based on that.

Next up: Mr. No-Run Up. lol :)

Another useful workout, not much offensively but we pitched a shutout. Kowloon dropped the ball twice on their three fumbles (botched handoff and muffed punt). Saldana 'The Sultan' again impressed in the second half, completing 6 of 10 including a couple of nicely thrown deep passes and also the games only TD.

A nice soft start to the season, that's all we asked for. Opening two home games are against last years Conference Champions (Incas and Atlanteans). In between, three tough road trips.

It's going to be a long and arduous season - and I wouldn't want it any other way :o)

It was aiming to give me the loss and I knew it. PF/PA and that injury. It was obvious.

That game = nerf. Endless penalties on offense and endless 100 avoid fumble...fumbles. My new MLB #2 almost staved off the nerf of a too potent preseason.

I don't mind losing when I can say 'oh, he caught me like that' and then you adjust.
