"Punt Block - No WR, CB, FS or SS in the ST Rushers depth chart or over-rides. They will be allowed on the inner wings of the front 6, which are fill by the players listed at #5 and #6 on the Gunners list. This rule be reviewed following each season and removed if/when the code is fixed."

It would be safer to say no one below 237 pounds. Could i slot a K or Punter there...why not a a QB? Or are they ok?

Or someone changes a DB's position to DE for a game. The position doesn't matter as much as the weight.

Look if people are looking to find ways to work around the code and the game ethos, then I won't waste any time kicking them out. If you're smart enough to work out an exploit then you should be sharp enough to win without having to use it.

If winning is so important to you (generalised - not specific to anyone) then do it without tainting your self as a 'cheat'. Their is a League that has just been set up 'No holds barred' which can accomodate you, or you can go to MFN-1 the beta test league. if all you're interested in is pushing the envelope to the point where the game goes beyond the realms of believability, you'll be welcomed there with open arms.

My stance on the Punt block is you should be able to get the occasional block from the edge rushers. But not through the middle. Or very, very, very rarely through the middle. I think the rule I have in place allows people to develop a strategy for trying to punt block. It also allows people to have a strategy to prevent it happening (elite long snapper, elite level punt timing for the punter, your quickest pass blocking O linemen on the edges etc)

Players can play out of position, but come on, at least try to play the game with some integrity.

How about we class the Punt return team as a defensive formation within the League. Therefore, only defensive players should line up - with the exception of the Punt Returner?

Basically, if you're lining up kickers, punters and QB's there or converting players on a game by game basis - go play with the rest of the people that want to play that (again this reply is a generalisation) and not aimed at any specific poster.

I put a lot into administrating a League and the two I currently have are both full and have been full from the off. I want players with integrity, that's all.

I agree with you on all points.
Unfortunately, in the league I admined, (until a couple days ago), a pretty well known owner defied an agreed on exploit rule during the playoffs. When he was confronted on it, he refused to agree not to use it, and replied that the rule was stupid and good owners should be able to gameplan around it.
The lesson to me was that we must plan for the people that think the universe revolves around them.
(I actually put off joining this league until I was pretty sure he wasn't going to. He's in two of my other leagues, and he does nothing but whine about the game the whole time, while still going deep in the playoffs every year.)

Then you'll be in danger of falling foul of the rules and guidelines. Set your ST Rushers if nothing else.

Yes, that is the agreed rule. It should allow some punt blocks but only a limited amount. If we need to review after the season we will.

I am not quite sure i understand how this works.

For the ST Rushers i am only allowed to use LBs and Defensive Line Players?

The Gunner part confuses me, i thought i could all players here. So how i understand it, i need to put D-Line + LBs at the first 4 spots and then i am good to go with the other spots at 5 and over?
