Rules and Guidelines

Free Agency - 3 weeks

Draft Trading - Trading turned off during the dispersal draft, trades allowed after the draft

Late Free Agency - 2 weeks

Pre-season games - 4 weeks

Punt Block - No WR, CB, FS or SS in the ST Rushers depth chart or over-rides. They will be allowed on the inner wings of the front 6, which are fill by the players listed at #5 and #6 on the Gunners list. This rule be reviewed following each season and removed if/when the code is fixed.

Injury rate - 75% during pre-season games, 100% for regular season

Re-naming players - As long as it's not offensive, it's acceptable. As Admin, I can change names without any cost to my credits - so if you would like to change player names pm me. Any name changes should be posted on a seperate thread. I will be changing a lot of player names on my team and they will all be players or former players of Liverpool

Trade meter - Left on (this can be reviewed following each season)

Players out of position - No Offense players to play on D and no Defensive players on O. That means if you need to cover for injuries you need to cover defensive spots with defensive players and offensive spots with offensive players. This is something you should consider when drafting!

Draft timing - Unfortunately changing the time of the draft is not an option. I have set the game time to 06:15am UTC/GMT The sim should therefore run during the night

Kickers/Punters - All teams MUST have an active kicker on Field Goals and Kickoffs and an active Punter on Punts.

Tanking - I appreciate that in the latter stages of the season you may wish to give younger players more experience to aid their development. That is acceptable but full on tanking for draft position is frowned upon. I'm not keen on seeing teams with 0-16 records, the #1 pick should not be considered a badge of honour!

Any questions just ask

Just so i am clear what does the 75% injuries setting mean?

It just means the pre-season games will have a lesser chance of players getting injured. This reflects the lesser intensity of Pre-season and the generally reduced playing time as players ease their way into the season.

100% is the standard rate across MFN (approx. 4 injured players per game I believe)

Its also out of 200, not 100 as some may think

It's a good starting point and base set of rules. Obviously in the future any can be revised. as far as the time of draft goes, if message JDB you can have it uniquely scheduled if he has time to do so. Looking forward to the season.

Cheers!

RE: The draft.

As far as I can tell, day 1 is 16 hours. So either way, not a big chance to make everyone happy.

Is it at all an option to do an "offline" draft? Only thing I really lack with drafting in this game is a way to say "my pick is final" and then not have to wait out the clock. I'd let the time go to next in line, which should enable more shots at draft day trades and seeing drafts end ahead of schedule.

Unfortunately, that's not an option

It's a good thought, but would actually throw people off.

I set an alarm for 15 minutes before my pick, in case my draft queue goes empty. If a number of teams used the "final pick" option, I could miss my pick entirely and end up with an AI pick, (an we all know what that means).

Not if the time others left was given to the next like I suggest. It's an option to move the draft along with no downsides.

No matter how much you plan, EVERY draft would have at least one person that needs ALL allotted time.

I have been in live fantasy drafts for over 30 years. Someone will be on the clock for 5 hours by the end of the round.
