Here are my updated weights now that I've gotten more experience with 0.4.2. These will probably stay my weights unless there are major changes with zone coverage in 0.4.3.
The only difference to the philosophy is that the tertiary category has been split into two categories. Point values are listed in the spreadsheet.
Before anyone asks about Speed, see this thread:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_aU-a7wlLr8ckU1MFlOb3R4N00/view?usp=sharing QBsThese weights are stripped way down. What I've found in 0.4.2 is that a QB can survive if he has Speed (and enough Acceleration), or if he has good Scramble, or if he has good Break Tackle, so I've moved all of those to 1 point. What this means is that these weights now focus more on how the QBs throw the ball.
To see how the passing code flow works refer to this thread:
https://paydirt.myfootballnow.com/community/3/3579?page=1 RBsBiggest change here is emphasizing Avoid Fumble over all other secondary skills. I did this after participating in an allocation draft recently and watching my RBs fumble away a lot of opportunities in the first year. Break Tackle gets the nod over Carry because I'm an inside running team. If you run an outside running offense, swap Carry and Break Tackle. My goal isn't to hit home runs each time, which is where Carry is better than Break Tackle My goal is to get 4-5 YPC.
Also, fair warning here. I move my RBs around, and I employ two different types of RBs. I employ the ground pounder, which is captured in the weights. But I also employ a pass catching back. In run heavy formations, I'm going to have the ground pounder as my RB1. In pass heavy sets, I'm going to use the pass catching back. Ideally, my RB1 will do both well, but this isn't necessary or guaranteed.
FBsI weight these guys, but I'm moving away from them. I'm either drafting them to play RB or I'm sliding my best Run Blocking backup TE into the FB spot. In pass heavy formations, I sub in my best Pass Blocking, pass catching RB. If that guy is a FB, I'm probably going to make him an RB to shed the weight.
WRsI go back-and-forth on WRs and what the most important skill after Speed should be. Is it Courage? Is it Route? Is it Catching? Right now, I'm going with Catching since that seems logical. But realistically, I look at all of the attributes of my WRs individually when determining where on the field I want them to line up.
CBsLike WRs, I got back-and-forth on CBs. Here I've reverted back to an old method of evaluating WRs. QBs are getting more accurate, so any separation is deadly. Also, I've noticed that Punish doesn't make up for bad M2M like it used to. This is purely anecdotal though. I haven't see anything that suggest it has changed.
Punisher, let me know what other threads need linked. I think you have bookmarks for everything that are alphabetized by game philosophy and weighted by number of replies. ;)
EDIT: Yes, I know that sometimes Intelligence is rated at 25 points and sometimes it's rated at 15. This is (mostly) on purpose. I value it as a tertiary skills for most positions, but I don't want to overweight other attributes with it, which is why sometimes its a 15 pointer.
