The debate as to who's the best RB in the VFL has only just begun. The Fields think they have the top dog in Sadio Mane (Patrick Grantham). However the RB group is deep for high end talent and Levin is right in the mix. Grade A+ shoulda gone higher

QB (Dean MacKenzie) Vladislav Lazarenko: Texas A&M

The Russians went to the QB well and took a chance on 'Laz the Lazer'. He has an arm but had fumbling issues in College. He looks to me to be little more than a journeyman QB but I've been wrong before. Grade D stronger talent elsewhere and better QB's still on the board.

I will load weights and edit the draft by putting a 1 value per all positions(except P and K). With a zero in the amount of picks i want throughout those positions.

Early in the draft this is essentially a best player available setting. You could leave the Coaches AI desire for certain postions so certian positions are sought after first.

Under this BPA setting once one position is picked the search will bury that position so its not picked again. Not the best wat to draft always but it made a team that made the playoff one time after an all AI selection.

I set volatility at 15 or something lower and posted the results above. IDK if i will pick any of those in my que as if my pick nears i still like to search out of postion, for example at CB, and look for heavier guys that could translate over on a position switch.

The latter is time consuming and i do it when i have time but its the most part fun for me. i just need 15 minutes per pick or so....but the AI thing is vaulable as well.

Early, like this in an allocation i will edit oline out of my auto que just in case i miss a pick...its always a solid player...well unless you ignore volatility.

This 4.6 code is better at zone so that makes overall AI decisions better. Not that the AI is great but a better code will produce a better AI. A CPU team does steal my picks earlier in an allocation from time to time. but your right they are not the best. It the AI contracts for older players that kill a team real bad.


Us being on beta code it seems we will be running with only changes to pass/ punt blocking. Should be exciting to see how 4.5 is with these two tweaks.

In beta i noticed elite timing , from a punter, will avoid any punt block attempts from any one, and the pass blocking part should stifle the 4-6 exploit. I am excited to see how overall blocking pans out and affect reads/throws/ run lanes....

I have read about punt timing beeing a difference, but what changed about pass blocking? First time i am in touch with a beta gameplay

IDK how prevalent this was across all play senerios, but this will be tested here live for the first time

"I am keeping the relative speed changes"

This needs clarification, but to me the larger players are closer to the smaller players than before in terms of speed part of the pass blocking code

I swear beta has a boost to lower speed players....that as well needs clarification from JDB. These last two are minor tweaks....where as the first one was a bug of sorts that should be fixed.

He runs seasons of data before its goes to beta for testing...the numbers must have looked good enough to warrant the keeping of these minor tweaks

"It's the scale of how much slower 0 speed is vs 100 speed. I reduced the difference early on in this version because it seems that a lot of issues are coming from that span being too great"

This is the boost to slower speed guys i was referring to

33 players DIDN'T bust, but a lot were static. 24 bust with varying degrees of horribleness.
The worst bust was...........my one and only QB WTH ........... 3/-13
