This is interesting.

I was on my phone earlier when I wrote this and another post and both of them, the last paragraph I wrote got cut off...

Anyways. I'm at a PC now and able to have a look at it. :)

I will load weights and edit the draft by putting a 1 value per all positions(except P and K). With a zero in the amount of picks i want throughout those positions.

Early in the draft this is essentially a best player available setting. You could leave the Coaches AI desire for certain postions so certian positions are sought after first.

Under this BPA setting once one position is picked the search will bury that position so its not picked again. Not the best wat to draft always but it made a team that made the playoff one time after an all AI selection.

I set volatility at 15 or something lower and posted the results above. IDK if i will pick any of those in my que as if my pick nears i still like to search out of postion, for example at CB, and look for heavier guys that could translate over on a position switch.

After that i get all voodoo like and scrutinize a player volatility, and get a feeling if they will boom or bust and and calculate a diamond in the rough that will be a value pick it he hits big.

The latter is time consuming and i do it when i have time but its the most part fun for me. i just need 15 minutes per pick or so....but the AI thing is vaulable as well.

Early, like this in an allocation i will edit oline out of my auto que just in case i miss a pick...its always a solid player...well unless you ignore volatility.

This 4.6 code is better at zone so that makes overall AI decisions better. Not that the AI is great but a better code will produce a better AI. A CPU team does steal my picks earlier in an allocation from time to time. but your right they are not the best. It the AI contracts for older players that kill a team real bad.

The first pick of the inaugural, dispersal draft for the Victory Football League goes to the Alcatraz Inmates and they select....

QB Andrew Adams out of Oklahoma.

A fairly safe pick, Adams should have 8-10 years of top level service - Grade B

Pick two went to the Fields of Anfield Road and they selected

RB (Patrick Grantham) / Sadio Mane out of Nebraska

A pure rookie with elite speed, The Fields have themselves a Bell Cow. Grade A

Pick three went to Moscow, and the Mules took

QB Shawn Peters out of Stanford

Another four year QB, another solid pick. I think Adams is the better prospect albeit marginally, but time will tell. Grade B

Offense continues to dominate with pick number 4 from the Acapulco Locos going to....

RB Darrell Dominick out of Grambling

As a sophomore (second year player) he may struggle to reach his full potential. Very volatile in College, the Locos may have there hands full trying to keep him interested. Big boom/bust scenario awaits. Grade B+

Tonquedec Snakes are #5 and again it's Offense, a third QB off the block

QB Paul Holman from Arizona State.

Another sophomore, Holman has to go down as a project pick, his accuracy in College was a concern. What he has is an arm and the ability to fire in passes with zing. We may not see the best of him until season three or four. Grade C

Pick 6 and we have a defensive player lifted off the shelf. Cook Island Captains have selected

FS Paul Sherrill from Nebraska

Widely anticipated to be the #1 pick overall, Sherrill is a steal at #6 and should Skipper the Captains Defense for many years to come. Grade A+

Pick #7 goes to Shaolin Monks of Tibet and we get the second pure rookie, second defensive player and second, Secondary pick

CB Dion Fernandez out of Tennessee

A shutdown cover corner, Fernandez may get bullied from time to time as he isn't the strongest but with elite speed and acceleration very few will run past him. Grade A+

Pick 8 goes to Queensland Jacks and they've taken arguably the best player in the draft.

LB James Dover - Other?

Yeah Dover comes out of a small time College where he excelled, has that given him a false rating. His fundamentals are electric and he can play anywhere on Defense. I love this pick, steal of the round to date. Grade A++
