46 heavy nonsense?

How can I identify what that is?

Hava a look in the MFN1 forums. Basically, theres a glitch which is allowing 10-12 sacks a game. It's limited availability as it only appears in 2-3 defensive playbooks.

I might get around to that.

I dno **** about defensive gameplanning. I've learned the 113, 212, etc. meannigs. I have no idea what 46 heavy means.

46 heavy is a defensive formation in which if you put a LB with 80+ speed/acceleration, he is unblockable. It's caused havoc in my USFL as one guy had 71 sacks this season, the previous record was 33. Would have been close to 100 but Seth backed off a bit.

It’s been covered above. No DB on DL, no WR at DB.

No one cares if you have a TE at RB. It’s when you covert everyone to WR have them lose weight and gain speed. So then you have all WRs playing WR and RB with max speed. If you have injuries to your RB, no one going to complain about a WR getting carries. It’s the WR with 400 rushes in a season that causes issues.

We all KNOW what to do. I don’t need rules to place to make sure I play the game the intended way. If we have to create rule after rule because someone feels like winning a virtual championship cause they think its makes them a real life hero, then remove that owner and you wont need 20 rules.

I'm going to make this THE rule!

I like this.

Just lost to a team in another league that was running CB as RB.

Ridiculous

Shouldn't that include no LB at DE, at least none that are 80+ speed?

Greg

That's a tough one. In the real NFL, there are hybrid edge rushers all the time.

Maybe they can't play DT?

I'm ok with LB at DL - as long as they are not #1, 2 or 3 on the depth chart.

Shaqueim Griffin is a speedy linebacker that is occasionally deployed as an edge rusher by the Seahawks - dude flies off the edge, but he rarely gets on the field.

what about a QB playing RB?

Taysom Hill, does this for the Saints. I would say this is likely to be a pre-season depth thing but with no 'scrambling' QB plays and some QB's having running attributes its reasonable to allow this.
