This.

I generally don't play players out of position, but will set up a backup wr as RB 4 or so, in case of injuries.

I would never override players out of position.

Best example of this right now, is in the other league I play.

I have 2 TE. Both are injured right now and questionable.

TE 3 is my normal starting RB. He's been put down to RB 4, as I have no injuries there.

TE 4 is my WR 3 -- who also happens to be injured right now...

i just sent a pm to our admin regarding the 46 heavy nonsense.

imo we for sure need a rule to prevent this exploit. the sack and pressure numbers are beyond ridicules and the downside is nowhere near as big as the upside.

Yeah we need something done here. I know it's being discussed in MFN-1 so I assume jdb is working on it. That means we should get a fix for this before the general Leagues.

Lets see how it goes in pre-season and go from there.

I like to have champions rule in place here. No one over 80 speed playing on the DL unless they are over 255 pounds. .....

Hava a look in the MFN1 forums. Basically, theres a glitch which is allowing 10-12 sacks a game. It's limited availability as it only appears in 2-3 defensive playbooks.

I wonder if this is the reason my stud OTs in NCAA gave up a total of 40 sacks this season after combining to give up 5 in the previous 2 seasons.

I might get around to that.

I dno **** about defensive gameplanning. I've learned the 113, 212, etc. meannigs. I have no idea what 46 heavy means.

With no rule vs it yet....as it does so well defending the pass .....the only answer is to run against it.

Certian passes the RT does slide over and block the LDE, so in theory passes that are to quick releases should work too. The LDE covers the RB for some season, at times, that delays sacks that could allow for a pass attemp.

It’s been covered above. No DB on DL, no WR at DB.

No one cares if you have a TE at RB. It’s when you covert everyone to WR have them lose weight and gain speed. So then you have all WRs playing WR and RB with max speed. If you have injuries to your RB, no one going to complain about a WR getting carries. It’s the WR with 400 rushes in a season that causes issues.

We all KNOW what to do. I don’t need rules to place to make sure I play the game the intended way. If we have to create rule after rule because someone feels like winning a virtual championship cause they think its makes them a real life hero, then remove that owner and you wont need 20 rules.
