I think something needs to be done to prevent people from tearing the **** out of out of position players but it needs to be easy to police.

I think I'd like some sort of Gentleman's agreement that OOP players are only used in emergency situations and you keep roster levels to an agreed minimum and/or maximum at each position

I play all O players on O and play some OoP.
I play all D players on D But have packages that have OoP players.
I abide by the punt block rule

This right here! This is me. I do use OOP players on Offense and same for Defense, But i NEVER use an Offensive player on Defense and Vice versa. I will hold my vote on this till i hear more from others and we find some Clarity on what we are trying to Prevent or Achieve.

I voted other just because it was hard to make just one choice.

I think the spirit of the game, especially as a beta where JDB is trying to make it realistic, we should play players in the correct spots.

Whether it be WR at CB or RB, or CB blocking punts, whatever.

If you really feel your WR skills play at RB? Then change his position to RB. If you think the WR would work at CB, change his position.

I fully understand that injuries happen and we have limited rosters. If I have 1-2 RB get hurt, I move a WR over during the course of the injury, that's different.

LB will be edge rushers in real life football in passing situations, so playing a LB at DE...no big deal. Playing the LB at DT however is just not real, regardless of success in this flawed game we play.

I agree with all of this. Now how to package that into a simple neat rule? Has to go by weight no? and you make a great point with the WR as a RB etc..if you think he is that good at RB then change his position. I'm guilty as charged in that aspect, Bit i like the idea of being true to the Game.

No lightweight players, No Oop Players is where i stand. I'm gonna vote Other also with this has my reasoning.

This is where my head is at on this subject. I know it's still a game, but any attempt to "keep things real" will gt my vote.

I think this should stay flexible as the game version changes, and new exploits develop.

Could anyone have guessed the "punt block" exploit two years ago?

As far as the current version, I feel only the "punt block" exploit pulls the game from RL scenarios, since in RL those smaller players would get thrown into the stands. Players play both ways in pretty much every level of RL football.

I play offense on offense and defense on defense, injuries can pile up with no choice, I have subed WR,TE,QB for RB and RB,TE for WR, LB for DE,DB and DE,DB for LB

This.

I generally don't play players out of position, but will set up a backup wr as RB 4 or so, in case of injuries.

I would never override players out of position.

Hi all.
I'm not the most experienced player in this game. Keep learning.
I don't even know exactly how Punt block exploit are coming...
But if we can play in the post realistic way it's ok for me.
I'm ok with a few oop player. Sometimes it's done in the NFL. But just sometimes and for few players.
In the League where I play teams used very often WR in RB position. So I did the same.
But If prefer keep this League more realistic.
So, in my opinion, QB Can play WR or RB but just few Times, in limited plays. As WR to RB.
RB to WE is more likely to happen in Real life.
In défense DLine - LB, LB - S and S - CB it's ok. But just for subs. Not starting. Except injures

Sorry if i'm not easy to understand. As a french with a phone who doesn't want me to wright in english, I'm not so sûre my texte will be fine for you.

Thanks for this League. Looking to draft and starting playing against you guys !!
