I just want LBs to lead the league in tackles in a season, every season. Is that too much to ask?

Yes

Running takes into account fumbles, holding etc, whereas the alternative is:
too much passing = track meet and that brand of football sucks. Kinda like the rule changes the NFL has to handcuff DB's

Fine. If no one else has a problem with my team racking up more than 4000 rushing yards a season, I'll just get back to gameplanning my all 11 set HB counter offense since all you need to Techmo bounce a LB is a 99 SP running back with about 40 break tackle.

Rushing statistics are out of whack (way too high). So are injuries (way too low). I am sure there are more statistical anomalies as compared to the NFL. Maybe it's due to the fact that the game is physics based and simply needs to be tweaked. Maybe some anomalies are due to the game plans and play calling that is utilized. (There seems to be an awful lot of deep ***** thrown, IMO.)

Bottom line: The game is and will probably always be a work in progress. My hope is that jdavid can monetize what he has accomplished an establish an income stream that can fund the work necessary to perfect the game.

Here's a classic example of the LB shrug off in action: https://mfn47.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/974#196008

The running back (5'10, 213) has 100 SP and 33 break tackle. The LB (6'0, 245) has 99 SP and 75 tackle. The LB tracks down the RB from behind and has a good angle. But the RB just shrugs him off like he's not there.

I'm just curious. Regarding this play in particular, do you think every time this happens the RB should be tackled by this LB?

This is the same play, this time the LB makes the tackle:
https://mfn47.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/974#195988
Again:
https://mfn47.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/974#196070
Again:
https://mfn47.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/974#196044
Same play, this time tackled by a DE with a 51 tackle rating:
https://mfn47.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/974#196017
This time tackled by a SS with a 34 tackle rating (LB 90 is probably credited with a missed tackle here but it should be an assist at least):
https://mfn47.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/974#196018

There are also other examples where the RB makes good yardage (SF seems to like this play!).

My point is that anyone can break a tackle every once in a while. Event Danny Woodhead breaks tackles.

I think there is a good ratio right now.

Sometimes I like to imagine actually watching the play happen in the NFL. Would I be surprised if Danny Woodhead was able to break a tackle by Ray Lewis? Sure. Would I think it was unrealistic? No. There is a certain unpredictability to every play that is what makes watching the games great, and makes MFN great as well.

Please don't up the injuries...it is hard at times to find 46 players without activating questionable...no more injuries. They are fine where they are

I guess we want realism, but not too much.

That's true for me.

For example, I don't want Aaron Hernandez or Derrick Thomas type situations.

Yeah, and I don't ever want anybody to tackle any of my ball carriers. But it happens in real life too.
