Read in the league chat room that it seems The Admiral can only name his own players now. You have until just before training camp runs to name them yourself.

Forgot to write down their former names, but the new names are from TV shows that debuted in 1982. Alex P. Keaton and Skippy Handelman are from Family Ties, Norm Peterson is from Cheers and T.J. Hooker is from the show of the same name.

Why 1982? That's what season we're playing.

Just signed a rookie in LFA, changed his name to Remington Steele.

I'm finding that I cannot change the jersey #'s on players. Is this a setting on this league?

No, Must be a failure at your side. For me it works, just changed a number.

It could be you have too many players at that position

Some leagues allow players to wear any # regardless of position but this one does not. My guess is what The Admiral said, no new numbers are available at that position.

A workaround is to temporarily switch his position so you can give him a new number, then switch him back. I've done this before when I named rookies after a real life player with an odd number like Ted Hendricks, who wore #83 as a DL.

I thought it was just that the number was already assigned. You can find who has it already and swap out. I didn’t think there was a league setting for this
