I think JB is pretty forthcoming with the development of the game. I have discovered that things I ***** about in the game is usually a result of game planning on my part. I do think that the OL and coaches need adjustment.

This game is great but it needs several screen passes.

Screen passes will -definitely- be in the game before it's a 1.0 release.

I dont think the OP is refering to where a team scores 100 points on a team he is refering to 100 points combined by both teams.

you guys are taking it like he was complaining about a game like 100-0.

When in reality he is complaining about a game like 70-30.

thats why i say this game ( https://mfn74.myfootballnow.com/box/view/664 ) is what he is complaining about score was 72-36 and had something like 8 turnovers.

Btw it was the conference title game in MFN 74 between Buffalo and Denver

Buffalo = https://mfn74.myfootballnow.com/team/view/5
Denver = https://mfn74.myfootballnow.com/team/view/1

To be fair, my gameplan was more focused on scoring as fast as I could as many times as I could in this game compared to my normal clock controlling strong defensive gameplan. I knew I had to try something completely different since my opponent, Bryson, has dominated my normal gameplan. Unfortunately, my defensive scheme didn't work to slow down his offense.

Ya the plan was working early but as the game wore on I think either my qb started figuring out the blitzes or your defense got tired. I think it was a fast break offense on both sides so the clock seemed to barely move. I have stopped worrying about the game mimicking real life football and just adapted my expectations to how the sim plays. I think eventually the run game will be fixed and there will be more low scoring pound it out games that many of us would enjoy. :)

For all the complaints about inconsistency in this game, I present blackflys, Bryson, lellow, eyeball, jsid, and more recently myself as good examples of consistency in this game. Please excuse me if I failed to mention any other consistent winners, there are several more Im sure. When I see one or more of these players in a league, I know they are going to be right at the top, with a playoff team that will contend for the championship, without a doubt. For those looking for more consistency in their game, I would highly recommend they look at these players teams in-depth, look at the attributes of their players/positions, look at the offensive & defensive plays they use, and look at the results both in player & team statistics and won/loss. There is no "flip the coin" involved with this group, they win over 90% of their games.

Refer to OP. This has NOTHING to do with results of members/managers. I know who the best players are.
This has to do with inconsistencies in the realism of the game.
A manager blitzes all the time wins? RIDICULOUS

I'm starting to see the gaping holes in the code that these computer savvy guys are talking about. When I watch a football game (in real life), I do not expect to see 100 total points scored. If I did expect that, I would be watching basketball. I do not expect to see +5 turnovers in a game. If I did, I would be watching pee-wee league football games (I seriously doubt it happens even in those games).

I understand that I have not been here from the outset & I have no idea how things were. If this game has progressed by leaps & bounds, then that is awesome! I know it is a far cry from Version 1.0 status. My point is; If this is a simulation, then the scores, players & game play should eventually reflect that.

I sincerely hope it gets to that point. I'm just starting to realize the frustration that some of the other members talk about.

Rant over,
