Season 1: 1981 - general chit chat thread

The draft is over, with very few rough diamonds left in the free agent pool.

The League wide trade embargo during the dispersal draft has now been lifted.

If you would like any rookies re-named please pm me prior to Training Camp, following camp any names are locked in for the remainder of a players career.

Yes, just rookies now but only until pre-season

TRAINING CAMP

Following training camp the word coming out of Melwood (the clubs training centre) is one of quiet confidence. There are one or two disappointments and as with all teams at this point there are weak points.

Onto to pre-season, lets see what this team can do on the field. Several positions are up for grabs and it's going to be tricky deciding which 7 will ultimately not make it

London could not be more happy with the offense after Training camp, nor more disappointed with its defense. First round selestion CB Tristan Da Cunha looked like he couldn't tie his shoes at different points of camp and dropped by 11 overall. However, rookie QB Shaun Martin couldn't miss as he blossemed into one of the best QB's in the leagues (according to Londons staff at least).

The Inca are having flashbacks to the days of the conquistadors...not much to celebrate. Yikes!

Initial Gameplan, locked and loaded. Now whose up first - Azores Atlanteans!!! Looks like we may have to wait at least one more week for a win.
