Sub 50 strength, could have gotten as good as or better out of the FA pool. Bad trade imnho.
Hmm although I will be the first to admit i am not the most shrewd at making trades i must humbly disagree. I like that you took the moment to view and comment tho
I value speed at this position as a pass rusher more so than at DT/NT. My weights have his value above 80 a positive growth player and while strength is below desireable the other skills do help offset that. I don’t see a player on the FA market that will give us that speed and pass rush ability in a young player that we will keep for 10 seasons. We will see tho
Could be Red, Darden's 100 pass rush to go along with the speed is a plus, also 90+ run def and good tackle, and good stat, 2 sacks on less than 200 plays, is a positive. So, not bad, and you may have gotten a steal, lol. And, there is one FA that I would consider, he's a 4 yr vet, 1 sack in less than 100 plays, The Ai has him rated sub 50, which is why he is missed by most. I have him rated 71, I may pick him up if he's still there and I need another DE.
Add: Looking at last seasons league player stats, top 40 sackers, the avg strength was around 75-80, one player, who was 40th, had less than 50 strength. The Keys RDE2 Macias was the #2 best sacker (22), LDE 2 Johnson was 14th (14 sacks), and RDE 3, Houk, was 33rd (10). That is a pretty impressive DL result, with 3 in the top 40 and none of them starting now, :o ! The Keys were the #1 ranked team in sacks last season! That must be a tough lineup to crack on DL! And their first round pick was a DE! Preseason and injuries prob have the most to do with the non-starting.
