*** did Smirt do to this team?

Top draft picks for players rated in 40s and 50s?

Guess it's gonna be a while to bring this team back.

You'd need to ask him. He has a unique vision for the game that generally works for him. I'm not sure if someone else came in whilst he was away so perhaps not his fault.

1990 1rd, 2rd, and 3rd picks for https://victory.myfootballnow.com/player/2827?

71/71 (default weights, 66/66 Seth weights), and 50% retirement prob?

This link has the wr as the benefactor. At the time he probably was faster and maybe had a year or two left. Smirt routinely picks late due to success so if your making a push for a ring ....why not add experience and 100s in skill ratings. Smirt was vocal about the weakness of draft classes. So this was the trend in his trades as the latter seasons played out.

I was churning out a war machine and had no intention of leaving. I've subsequently figured out v4.6 (I've lost 2 times total in the past 2-3 weeks) probably with being pissed off at events here as an impetus. Looks like that was my final power play piece and he definitely had more speed.

Drafts are stinky. I don't deep dive analyze them, however, someone can jump in to back me up. New dispersal drafts don't stock QBs or kickers. Regular drafts supply the same non-game influencing positions while making WR and CB funnel to limited, high volatility poison pill options. Simply put, I'm not playing the vol game; especially when you see all the tears shed on training camp result threads about - - - - minus camps. :(

Any GM trades away his 1st and 2nd rd picks, for the next three years, for players that retire before those picks are made... Better at least get to the SB.

I have a lot of respect for Smirt's ability to win games, even if I don't like how he does it. He spends a lot of time figuring out how this game works, and I respect that...

But...

This fits no mold, except trying to sink the team... and/or maybe helping other people for outside purposes. Better deals in other leagues, maybe?

You got me figured out. That's what I did.

Sunk the team, helped others out as my 95 titles and 400 title game appearances indicate.

Off the thread now and homie, don't PM me again asking for any insight. :)

Storms off, acting insulted...

All he had to do was offer a legitimate reason to trade three years worth of 1st and 2nd round picks for 60 rated players with 40% retire probability.

I'm sure there's a legit reason, right? I have so much to learn.

I'm all about building through the draft, making limited trades, never over spending on free agents and Coach the team up!
