Notice of intention to vacate team

I've decided to leave this team at the end of the season. If anyone knows someone who would like to assume control before that, I will step aside earlier for them.

I've been thinking for some time now that I need to handle less teams.

When I was in Covid layoff, I took on a bunch of teams to stay busy. Since going back to work, some 7 months ago, I've tried to keep running the teams I felt a connection to. This was one of them, as I've had them since the dispersal draft.

I've always said that I won't leave a failing team. This is going to be the exception to that rule.

During a time when I don't really have the time to handle the number of teams I have, I've come to dread watching my team in this league. The failure to find a decent QB, on an otherwise decent team, is sapping my love of MFN. I feel my blood pressure rise every time my 68 rated QB throws into quadruple coverage. When I bring in an 88 rated QB to replace him, and watch him play worse... well... too much longer, and my doctor will have to increase my lisinopril dosage...

I still think this league is a great concept, and think you guys are awesome. I wish you all success, and hope to see you all in my other leagues for years to come.

Best Regards,

BillStein

I'm on the fence myself, I'm getting tired of this beta version with the passing game restraints. On a side note, I actually know what lisinopril is since I take it too. Sucks getting old.

Being the 4.6 code there is sure room for adjustments to game plan. The problem is most likely not the qb but the code. Cause when I saw QBs do what yours did last game I just stopped calling those plays. Problem not solved but rather avoided. Cause anyone coming new to this code with some background to football would be blown away by lack QBs play in this code.

A blitzing goal line formation vs a long pass should let the qb go over the top for something big. But it’s in your last game I saw a rule put in vs your offense in that scenario twice. First time an elite wide open wide receiver drops it and the second time a strip sack. The problem is that kind of stuff happens more often than not. And that big play is almost none existent.

Really your offense did great for throwing so many long passes. We would get zero yards and points with a similar plan. The play calls are the main drivers in results. I wonder if Cossette s 99 intelligence is his reason for success.

Sorry fo see you go, but completely understand. I’ve always been a believer that every QB is a **** shoot regardless of ratings. Connie Jones is an example. He doesn’t rate well, but has played as well as any QB in this league. Honestly I had benched him this season for a higher rated QB and have since gone back to him. Go figure. Best of luck to you moving forward.
