He has never ever been listed as a WR or TE so am puzzled as to why this should happen.
5 WRs dressed for this game, so its not like there wasn't enough depth or they were gassed.

offensive lineman are very good receivers for me in the preseason, and i dont have them listed at WR. Maybe you should switch receivers over to off. lineman and off. lineman to WR ;)

Ha ha yeah that crossed my mind

Im not sure if this is referencing the auto placement, but I have no problem setting rosters/ gameplans to get who I want to play where. You have to set them deep and overlap players depending how much you think they will play at that position. Or is it a lack of players to play there in the first place. But there got to be a reason. Whether it was preseaon and I wanted to rest legit starters or providing obscure depth for a late season injury riddled linebacking corp I found it very doable.

I just pushed a patch that should help with this - basically it is preferring the depth chart until all the players in the depth chart are either active in another position or are too injured to play. So your fatigue will rest your starters unless the backups are more fatigued than the starters, in which case the player in your depth chart with the least amount of fatigue will stay on the field.

I'm going to change the AI so that the depth chart does not get modified even if the AI has to change the active players (right now if the AI has to activate/deactivate a player then it rebuilds your depth chart, which is the only time that it should do it but it is obviously easy to have it happen i.e. if you have an "out" player and don't get him deactivated or accidentally have too many/too few players active after you've done your roster moves) - this will probably be in the next version, which will hopefully be ready at the end of the next MFN-1 season.
