ALL the proof you need. I used only the 2 set rules shown in jpg (2/3/0 run and 1/2/2 pass) in the game. https://mlf.myfootballnow.com/log/1876
I do have the attack #1 in my def plays, mostly just to add a play for overcall purposes. I did not need to use it for this game, and I had remembered to doublecheck that I had eliminated it for all aspects of "gameplanning" (rules, offense/def etc).

Furthermore, I only used the 2 keys shown, and the AI is clearly keying me vs the 3/1/1 throughout the game.

Using a play that I had no rules for and had eliminated in all sections of "gameplanning" other the the def playbook vs a set i also had no rule in effect for.
...Just yellowed to have a play so I didn't seem thin.
Hadn't even called it in the last 4 previous games, as I did not encounter the very limited scenario I would use it. ...it was yellow all 4 games.

Also, as usual in the playoffs, at least for me, the ratio of passes to runs reverse - severely.
Fortunately I had a bomb **** game from my RB.

Feel free to spot check my ratios over the season in the box scores.

I actually called the pass/run shift in league chat before the sim. ;)

I still really, really LIKE this game.

Rules are not the only place that run/pass keys are set. Be sure to check your regular 'defense' game planning settings as well.

Anything not obvious that I should really look for jdb? Haven't got the time tonight, me thinks.

I assume you're referring to the Major League Football team - your regular gameplan is set to essentially 1/3 run key, 1/3 pass key, and 1/3 neutral for all situations. When the rule doesn't kick in, you're going to have 2/3 probability that you are going to call a key of some kind.

hmm. Alright. I may not have picked up on this facet...
Within my regular def game planning, I am just running a static 1/3 1/3 1/3 across the board - all downs, all yardage zones, in the run/pass tab. As I have since day one of my MFN gameplay.
Your feedback suggests that I should also adjust this aspect as I would in say, a created defensive rule or offensive personnel tab?
If so, simple fix.

Yes, if you only want to do run/pass keys via rules, set the regular one to 100% neutral. You can, of course, set the regular run/pass keys with strategy and have your rules override that as well. But, I wouldn't just do a straight 1/3 each because you will be calling inappropriate keys frequently.
