When it comes down to putting up numbers these two guys were about 30 th and 31st on the list of top receptions . Very similar was there numbers except trade score. Lopez was a 510 and Burton was a 2400.

Once TEs are actually thrown to , when open, then perhaps their trade value will be represented . The code has qbs ignore the underneath middle of the feild......alot. the only reason qb ignore these wide open guys is because the coverage/ alignments is severely lacking by lbs and certain zone formations .

In general TEs are ignored simple as that. Also I see little difference when you play a small TE in the run vs a big TE. If anything the small TE is just faster and gets open more easily .

It is too bad he feels this way since this is a game, not real-life, and only a moderately accurate (at the moment) simulation of reality which is probably going to be fixed/patched/upgraded for a while. A game requires special considerations since many important real-life considerations do not exist for a game and in a game, the main thing is fun and fair competition.

The hoops we jump through to eliminate 'cheating' and the supposed help the draft is supposed to give to aid bad teams in competing with champions is negated by the skewed valuation system which keeps the bad teams bad and the good teams good.

Something is wrong when the best advice to be given to owners of bad teams is to 'never trade your top draft picks' because it only worsens your team in the long run.

I think that's going to change before too long. If the new draft pool obfuscation being tested in MFN-1 right now becomes a reality, high draft picks probably won't mean nearly as much in the future.

This was never released , and player generation was tailored to keep more high rated picks coming out later in the draft . By boosting static skills for lower over all rated players and giving all unselected picks a volatility boost (each round)the later they are drafted.

Two different concepts , same goal.

Looking at this obfuscated draft from a random paying customer, my first thought is that this idea would be the wrong way to go in an online game surviving mainly on customers tapping in or out.
I think a lot of us here get a small kick out of winning, but obviously it is not easy winning every game or even win enough game of the season to make it to post-season.
Sitting there loosing game after game for the greater part of a season if tough to bear, however, you have the great advantage that you get to pick early in the upcoming draft which is valuable for rounds 1 and 2 - maybe even 3. It fills you with hope that next season should at least see some progress.
With this obfuscated draft you can't even be sure that your time in the game will improve in the draft, and I seriously doubt that people in a bad situation will find that stimulating, when the hope of progress has moved down the pipes for MAYBE next season.
I appreciate the idea of getting close to the real world NFL, but I think it will be mistaken to resemble everything as being real world like in an online game that has the purpose of leading your team to the trophy.
I think it would be a killer for a large part of members here.

That said, I do infact appreciate the idea of a some what foggy draft, however, I think it should be a tool for customized leagues to add-on in set-up - if not permanently, then at least for a period of time.
