Also, prior to going on the list people should have the opportunity to explain their reasoning/action. The genuine bonehead error can be excused, after all we all do something stupid from time to time.

It was something I wanted to do to just warn other owners and people made the list by deliberately sabotaging a team, ie; releasing perfectly good players that would unbalance a league bu others picking them up, signing players to ridiculous contracts and getting the team into cap ****, then just walking off and leaving a ruined team.....stuff like that.

Of course its not meant to be inflammatory and anyone on here is free to fight their corner, so far no one has :)

Everyone on this list has been repeatedly PMed to explain/answer/defend their actions......none responded!

Don't get me wrong, I agree completely with the sentiment. However, I do think people should have to explain why someone has been put on the 'naughty step' and which league their misdemeanour took place.

Not everyone reads the forum posts, some are completely unaware they even exist. Now, if anyone who is currently on this list, finds this thread and asks 'What am I supposed to have done? In which League?, how many people have complained about me?' and you don't have those answers, then what case do they have to answer for?

Do I think people mess up teams on purpose, yes (occasionally - sometimes, repeatedly). Do I think people could post usernames on this thread maliciously, for no good reason, **** yeah, I think they could. By all means, name and shame, but state why and which league(s) and private message the user to let them know what they have been accused of, where and if they would like to offer a defence of there actions. Highlighting that many league admins will blackball them immediately, based on this and they will find it tougher and tougher to find a league to play in.

Like I said, EVERY OWNER on here has been PMed repeatedly with no response. The thread was created because several admins began to talk via PM and share information about problem owners.

This thread is really a heads up to league admin of private leagues who dont want to go through the **** of a -100 million under the cap team in their league.

These owners dont answer PMs and eventually have to be booted from leagues. Everyone on here has been vetted by at least 2 league admins for continued abuse without answering PMs.

It's a tool for league admins to access potential new owners joining. If you have questions about a specific owner, I can give you whatever information I can. Gustoon has been designated the point man and all names go through him before posting.

By all means, as a league admin, you can allow any one of these owners in your league. Everyone deserves a 3rd or 4th chance. PM them first and see if they reply and ask them why they are on this list.

Personally, we would love to hear from them

I’d also add that every person I’ve ‘booted’ has never ever contacted me... I think that says it all

That's what billstein is doing in AFL. He gave pc22whatever until FA3 runs to respond to his PM, now that bill has seen this thread. If no response, he'll be booted.

Yeah, the problem with that is with owners like this....one sim spin could ruin a francise for 3 to 4 seasons. The damage that can be done in one spin is immense. He could cut a dozen great players and sign 40 free agent contracts that put the francise in cap ****.

Anybody can make mistakes but this PC guy has done it in multiple leagues and the damage done takes SEASONS to recover from.

That's the point of this thread. Once you as an admin have to deal with the consequences of one of these owners, you will better understand why this thread exists.

The last thing you want is a team in cap **** that nobody wants to take over. Our small group of admins have had enough and named these owners as a warning. I'm hoping Bill Stein the best of luck. Maybe PC# guy has learned his lesson and will actually answer a PM.....or maybe he just enjoys ruining teams and damaging leagues.

Fingers crossed

I'm watching him close.

I can ensure he will not ruin Texas in the AFL, (without blatantly lying to me to get to through the sim).

No contact in the next few hours, and he's gone. (I never set a hard time limit in my message to him, just told him he needed to respond or be booted.)

Let me say this.....I love this game and have spent a ton of time and some money to create several leagues while I admin 5 of them.

I love being admin and taking the time to add extra content so all the owners in my league can become more invested and find more enjoyment in my leagues.

The single biggest problem being a league admin is finding 31 owners to fill out the league. I've been burned several times in my leagues by owners maliciously doing damage to teams.

Because of these owmers.....newer owners have been turned away from joining my leagues simply because the have no experience.....no track record.....and a fear they may be duplicate accounts.

It is reasonable for an admin of a league to get a response by PM by any owner in their league when a question of their intentions come up.

If Bill Stein avoids a potential disaster because of this thread then it justifies the existence of this thread. Someone that simply doesnt understand the game or makes a horrible mistake would answer a PM and hopefully learn why what they did is wrong and harmful to their team. Someone with good intentions would answer.

Basically, what Gustoon is spearheading here is for follow admins to avoid the problems/headaches that we have already dealt with. I've had to have JDB roll back the sim because someone cut his entire roster and hired the worst possible coaches for every coaching position in a clear cut attempt to sabotage a league.

Good luck Bill Stein.....if he doesnt respond by PM....I would not only boot him but use a duplicate account to take ownership of his team pre-sim and make sure he didnt make nonsense cuts or signings. You can PM JDB about creating duplicate accounts as a league admin to manage your league.

My username is Cjfred68....I created CJTEMPFIX as my duplicate account so everyone in the league would know it was me acting in the best interest of the league. Transparency is the key.

Perhaps we can get logic written into the code where the system recognizes destructive behavior and locks the GM out from his team with a written caption on the screen of 'nice try, buddy.'

It stands out so I wonder if there's a way to write code so it identifies poor behavior....since this could get in the way of good cuts and cap clearing how about if the system gets detected to potential cap destructive moves it puts it to a review process for the League Owner to review. Sure, the GM would have a 1 sim delay before it went through but something needs to be done. Something creative.
