If someone is in L75, there's a good chance you'll recognize them from having won the league championship in one of your other leagues. On top of that, our awesome group of users bring the league to life with annual league player awards, draft previews and reviews, frequent team updates, endless banter, and of course eyeballll's famous Funday Night Football posts previewing one of each spin’s upcoming matches.

What we’re looking for:

COMPETITION! This is most important by far. If you’re not a frequent playoff contender in your standard leagues, you’ll likely be in for a miserable time in 75. If you’re not there yet, don’t worry! Keep learning, growing, and once you start wiping the floor with those chumps in the standard leagues, give us a go!

ACTIVITY! While in no way required, a lot of us really love to add a dose of flair with creative and unique forum participation, and we love to see new blood with the same passion for the game as us.

In an effort to ensure that we continue to cycle in only the most hungry and battle ready users, we have recently instituted a new relegation system:

Teams will be assigned or detracted points each season based off their performance. At -10 a team will be ‘relegated’, that is, asked to withdraw from the league and allow a new user to take over their team. While this is naturally a very difficult thing to ask someone to do, it is necessary for L75 to remain the most competitive and elite league there is. By joining the league, you agree to these terms, and agree to surrender your team in good faith if you hit the relegation mark. If you feel that doing so would be too challenging (I know we all can get very emotionally attached to our digital teams and players) then please reconsider submitting to join L75.

The scoring system is as follows:

Finish Over .500: +1
Wildcard: +1
Division Title: +2
Bye/Playoff Victory: +2
Voting In All League Polls (ie MVP): +1
Writing At Least One Team News Segment: +1
Contributing At Least One Major Forum Segment (awards, draft pre/review, FNF, power rankings, etc): +1

Finish Under .500: -1
Finish At Or Under 5 Wins: -1
Finish At Or Under 3 Wins: -1
Finish At Or Under 1 Wins: -2
Finish At Bottom of Division: -1
Three Consecutive Non-Winning Seasons: -1
Four Consecutive Seasons Without Playoff Appearance: -1
Five Consecutive Non-Winning Seasons: -1
Six Consecutive Seasons Without Playoff Appearance: -1

All scoring is cumulative (e.g., if you earn a wildcard AND finish over .500, that would equal +2 total; if you finished at or under 1 win, you would trigger all the preceding negatives for -5, plus an additional -1 if you were also last in your division), and will carry over season to season.

Teams can earn up to a +5 buffer. Please note that you may also earn up to +3 additional points per season through non-competitive means. This can be a helpful way to maintain your point standing even during those painful rebuilding seasons.

As a new player taking over an existing team, you will be granted a one season ‘grace’ period in which you will be immune to any negative point triggers. Any positive points earned will however be added as normal up to the +5 buffer mark.

If after all that, you’re still interested in being part of this league, please send a PM to both Ares and Mr.Krazy. As this is an exclusive league with all active owners, turnover can be infrequent at times. If you can’t get in right away, don’t worry. Just keep kicking **** and making awesome forum posts and we’ll find room for you eventually. And of course if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to ask!

I'd join but I currently have something in the works with my man Black Ops hehe ffys....I'm awaiting the announcement of that before going any further with comment. :)

This is a better shot then any to get in to 75 now. Your track record proves your among the elite so go all in to get in and if you dont the other league will still be the same situation.

I would definitely but I'm going to compete with my homie Scarface and bring him onboard when the other league gets rolling!

i think you should join the league because if you dont and someone jumps at that chance you will then be kicking yourself that you should have just done it.

kind of like when you see a player to draft and someone else gets him
like when you see a player or a coach to sign and someone else gets him
like when you have the credits for a league and someone else gets that team.
like when you see a beautiful woman and someone else gets the girl.
so on and so forth.

and when those things happen all you will have is regrets so if you dont do it you will have regrets but if you take a leap of faith and be the one that gets one of those examples you will be totally glad you took that chance and you wont have regrets.

so my question to you is do you want to be the person with regrets or the person who doesnt have regrets??

I told him he should try and be chosen not that's he's in . It's not up to me and the commish's have a good selection process in the mix.

i was just trying to push him to doing it or give him the motivation to join.

Scarface wants me to compete in the same league with him so I'll wait for the next super private, competitive league to come along. :)
