I wonder what ranges in the matrix are active for that PAT/2pt attempt? I would assume 1st and short is used, but i guess that would depend a bit on your settings.

It's a rule I set up. I run 2 personnel groups, 1-1-3 and 2-1-2, and use my running plays and short passes from that. When I click on view plays, 14 pop up. Idk about the matrix aspect of it, but looking at my rules, it seems I'd kick the extra point if I commit an offensive penalty. I have distance to go set at 0-3 yards.

On the flipside, idk how to defend against 2 point using only the matrix. When I first started playing, I had an opponent who always went for it on 4th down and went for 2. I then added extra point to my defensive rules so no matter what, I'd at least have an appropriate defense on the field for whatever formation my opponent might use to go for 2.

The matrix will use 4th and short for the 2-point conversion defense.

It doesn't always work out as planned, especially when you play a team that's been in the championship game all 9 years of a league's existence. I scored the first 2 TD's and made both conversions to go up 16-0 but I wouldn't cross the end zone again and lost 34-22.

This is about the conversions though, and tonight's 2 for 2 makes the Heisenbergs 8 for 11 on the year. For the mathematically challenged, that's an extra 5 points for us even if my kicker would have made every XP.

Next 2 games I was 1 for 5 and 3 for 3 to make us 12 for 19 on the season.

New season in this league, Week 2, so I figured I'd check last year's results. After the 12-19 referenced above, we went 6-17 down the stretch to finish 18-36. I was also 0-1 in my playoff loss and 1-3 this preseason. Week 1 was all FG's, so no tries.

It's time to start kicking XP again, though the rule is just deactivated, ready to be used again when the time is right.
