I respectfully disagree about this game getting college-like results. Scoring is huge in college. You’ll see many 48-30 type of games. Lots of TDs and excitement.

I compare the latest version to the 1977 NFL. When your punter's hang time was REALLY important, and big-named QBs threw more picks than TDs, considerably more. Tampa Bay was shut-out SIX times.

In general if you count all codes , yes this game is . There was a code years back where defenses were way stronger. Lucky to get 1000 yards rushing or 3 000 passing with one guy. And ones like 4.2 where guys really worked the code getting 40 recieving tds with one guy in one season . That window was pretty small but the fact it was possible makes the game college like to me. Only cause our guys are slow though and gm involvement . Not cause of a code change.

Scoring and offenses are down 30% in 4.5. Mine are less, but don't disagree about play. Just explaining it . Fixing the root causes will make for less nerfs and a better game. People might be leaving cause of the drastic change, but it has happened before. Great owners leaving for one reason or another . I would quit leagues to devote time to fewer teams to focus on scouting game planning . Only cause it takes time to apply correctly . That football like I guess.

Would you be happy with a 30% increases in your Mortgage / Bank issues ? I would say you would be crazy if you accept that.

The game is supposed to be enjoyable for all...hence TOP...people will leave.

IDK I would quit if nothing was changed. Banks don't scare me either. Money is a game just like mfn....very exploitable...people just care about money more. So there is more parity between the ones who desire it.

None my complaints/ posts in beta months ago pre release were not anything along the lines of being enjoyable , but long passes were nerfed. It is like when blitzes were overpowered years ago, I would have quit then too if nothing is done. Do I like the result/ playability of those changes ? My posts would not necessarily say so but I am still here. So

Still, I reserve these posts for mfn 1 forums . Not these public basts of doom. Everything will be ok..even bank credit gets cleared after time. President Lincoln died deep in debt. People still like him .

If we came together there in mfn1 during testing with this energy would have produced better results .

This whole thread is drama now. Even without the complaints now of 4.5, testing would have slowed and releases would be less frequently . I saw this coming months ago, but the few voices in beta fall to the way side alot. We need strength in numbers there (all of these people quiting and voicing now) during beta testing periods to ensure solid releases in the future.

That's a nice assessment. In case you haven't noticed, beta is full.

He had another test league but it died as there was no users to fill it . Openings happen all the time. It's not for everyone but the few posters that we have have been there awhile and their contributions are appreciated . Most others are in and out . It is really like a dozen guys supposed to represent the masses. While only a fraction of possible gameplans are tested even after seasons of completions . These few guys said mostly what the masses have complained about anyway. One could always just watch games there or just respond to a play linked by one other users gripe.

If we wait until general releases to mass complain then that is what it is. My assessment would prevent that in a more proactive /interactive way so immediate changes can happen . You'll see that one thing can change another for seemingly no reason at all . Perhaps having more of an application of what going on here from a broad perspective .

Some who cares to change the game for the "good" will find a way to be there. I am gearing this thread into a recruitment thread due to the lack of detailed truths being passed through it . Like I said it looks bad for the game. Simple.

People quit things all the time. Why highlight it? It is well known by jbd and experienced users months ago . What is being accomplished by posting this thread ? Personal agendas rule and guys are stripping over a respectable line. But once again that just my opinion . That's all were doing here right? Posting opinions ?

Quite boring like this thread is getting

What universe are you from? Lol j/k. Have you watched the Super Bowl compared to all the scoring in the college bowl games this year? Super Bowl: 13-3. Yes, it’s fair to say that this code very much imitates the NFL.

I follow the NFL because of the skill and that it's chess for sports jerks.

College is like watching league 6 soccer. Sure, there's more goals, but better to watch? Nah.
