Hey Tweg, I remember that game, you had us down 35-17 start of 4th, I like to think it was the
pep talk on the sideline!

It had to be either that or you guys secretly paid off my quarterback so that he would throw up 5 int's. It was definitely the definition of insanity. I still thought it was a good game, errors aside, and I look forward to more clashes in this new league.

When i seen this post i was curious as to how i have been doing..here is how it pans out.

31 Leagues Played in
50 Seasons
3 Conference Championships
0 League Championships Won
3 Championship game losses
496 Wins
278 Losses
64.1% Win pct
26 Playoff Appearances
22 Division Championships

Definitely shows my Playoff struggles even though i have 54% win pct in the playoffs. I'll get that LC one day.

Why do folks play in so many leagues? Especially at one time. Just a general question here. I'm a one league guy. I enjoy getting to know my players from top to bottom. I just can't image u get a deep "connection" with your team when you're juggling several... Or even 10 +

Easy answer for me. I get bored. I want to manage, not sit around every other day. so having multiple teams keeps me busy.

I have never had an issue running any of my teams..i know the in's and out's of all of them and if you could see the notepad that sits next to me, it has all the information for every team i run anywhere from what needs to be upgraded to Drafting/FA needs also has tracking information on players that im monitoring their weight after a position change.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have a 64% win pct, not 56%...

I was actually just going to start a thread on this topic: How many teams do you/should you have? I feel my ideal number is 6 teams, I can manage that effectively. Right now I have 12 teams, and I'm finding it to be too many... I miss stuff, especially in the offseason. And I don't spend as much time on the messageboards, which I miss. I have to shave my teams back, but I like them all... Sigh... I'm better at taking teams than quitting them...

As far as how many championships I've won, meh, I've won a few. The problem with the 'Championship League' concept is that we are assuming the 'best GMs' are the winning ones. I find that the guys that make leagues great are the ones that are contributing to the fun for everyone else, with leadership and contributions. And they don't necessarily win. Those guys are the best, as far as I'm concerned... I'm woefully average compared to those guys...
