I still dont like the idea of being able to make certain trades because of seniority in the league, Everyone should still be on the same even playing field and new owners shouldnt be restricted. Actually for the most part those are probably the owners that need to make the trades the most

I also like the idea of making only significantly out of balance trades up for review and have the traders give their rational at the trade submission for why the trade should go through. I think when a significantly out of balance trade occurs, a notification of the trade should be sent out, with the option to vote to overturn it if the reasons given for the trade are not good enough. I think both these together will cut down on trades that are suspicious or trades where people are taking advantage of another persons ignorance of the game.

I agree.

I agree. I think everyone should be on the same playing field.

Also, I like to have the option of trading a pick 5 years in the future as it is now.

I may be willing to give up a 1st in 2019 that I wouldn't for 2015 becuase in I know that in 2019 it will be the last pick of the round (so not worth very much), because I'm the 3 time defending champ due to the great player I got by trading that pick back in 2015!

.......and huge head! ;)

I agree with that as well although I still have this niggle that if an owner diddles off before, say in a seasons time, the new owner has the misfortune to try and deal with it, not very appealing.
I'm in MFN with a team like that and have every intention of NOT renewing after the season (at the moment anyway) but should I go the team has multiple picks to start it off, which is a far more attractive scenario.

I was just trying to add some humor.

One way to at least limit the scope for abuse would be to only allow one trade between teams per season, possibly with no more than 2 players or picks per team in that trade.

This happens in some other games I've played although they are Soccer not American Football.

Alright, Let's keep it simple if we can.

No new limits.

Revamp the trade weight bar so it is functional.

If any trade falls outside the guidelines a warning prompt will recommend posting your reasoning and that a anonymous veto vote will be automatically started that could overturn the trade.

Easily the best post of this thread.
Great idea to revamp the meter for draft pick value to that of NFL ratings.
As far as players, look at some talent measurement on players, if possible taking into account how old a player is. For example, a 75 4th yr QB should have greater value than an 85 12th yr QB for instance

And please, after the OP of this thread, what a whine-fest that was, no more rants like that pile of ****. What a bunch of hot air!

If you allow voting on a trade by other owners. We have no idea who is active for the voting process of a trade. What ever the majority is for pass or decline. We may not even have enough votes.I would suggest on each teams page too show when they were last active. That way we have an idea who is playing in each league. This would also help us find active trading partners.
