So the two listings I've seen listed are "Happy" and "Neutral". Is there a third category?

Also, what are the re-signing ramifications of Neutral?

There are various levels of displeasure - which -should- be difficult to get to. Essentially, once they are no longer at least 'neutral,' they will be unwilling to re-sign with you. There is no signing ramifications to a player being neutral as opposed to happy, but a neutral player could turn unhappy faster than a happy one will.

I made a trade for a veteran RB in one of my leagues and the player is now "Livid" with the owner that traded him. Excellent choice of word!

How does he feel about You? Can the player traded DEMAND renegotiating his contract? (I guess that's not something we would wish to start)

OR, can a player list who they WON'T allow to be traded to?

I'm worried some might not wish to come to the Browns, because they've had some stability issues with head coaches not lasting more than 2 seasons, cannot draft talent, in spite of having top five picks each year for what seems like decades?

These (and many more) are some of the reasons that encouraged me to spend MEGA bucks on renovating the locker room, provide THE FINEST dining room in the league, and are building an attached Cleveland Clinic facility to treat injuries.

We might not have Cheerleaders, but We'll have the most stunning sexifabulous nurses imaginable.

Neutral, which makes sense to me.

Does Happy vs Neutral have an impact on how much $$ a player is seeking to sign?

Does releasing a player make him livid at the team that released him?

Thanks.

I don't remember exactly which word was used (livid or unhappy), but a player that is cut, traded or simply allowed to test the FA market will NOT re-sign with you.

I can understand the first two, but he should still be willing to re-sign after testing the market.

Agreed. That needs to be changed.

I sometimes try to re-sign a player I cut to fill-in for an injured player (especially if he's familiar with my playbook). Or bring him back the following season. I guess I won't be able to that now. :-(

Anybody know whether attitude affects salary demands?

It does not, to the best of my knowledge.
