You dont if the team scores a TD, if they would have kicked a FG or gave the ball away then you would have. A TD automatically ends the game in OT

It used to be that the first team that scored won no matter what but they did change the rule that the other team will get the ball back again as long as the receiving team doesnt score a TD.

So it's the exact same as the NFL.
