Hot Read vs Attack # 3

First regular season game an my opponent throws for over 600 yards because of hot reads almost every time I ran Attack# 3. This started from the second play of the game. Also I believe the AI favors that play over the other run defense plays like Attack # 1 and Attack # 2. I had no problems during the preseason with Hot reads and hadn't made any significant changes to my defense before the regular season. I did put Attack # 3 back in to my play book. But I also have Attack #1 and #2 in. My defense is also more of a neutral base, So I don't know why the AI favored that play and why was hot read used almost every time it was called starting on the second play of the game?

I guess I should have provided all that. I still won the game and wasn't complaining that it cost me a game. It just seems like something isn't working like it should.

it is ok i got you covered

wasnt saying you were complaining .

was just trying to give all the information i can possible so someone maybe can answer your question.


though i think what happened is you have those attack plays in a RULE and it kept coming up in a situation that those plays are in that RULE so your best bet is deactivite/deselect them all so they wont be in your playbook or even your RULE then try to fix that RULE once you find the offending party then maybe problem solved.

Only thing is I don't use rules. It's set to the default.

Also the problem didn't happen in preseason. I made some adjustments to what my linebackers do. Thinking maybe limiting them was also limiting play selection.

Attack three has 2+ lbs blitzing where as attack 1 and attack 2 only have 2 lbs blitzing. Maybe that made a difference
