4th and 14, down by 4 and under 2 minutes. This is a situation where the offense should clearly be going for it.

hurry up offense doesn't trigger unless you are down by 7

Not quite, the game know enough to know I'm down and to throw every down. It should be able to handle generic situations such as this. I haven't really delved into rules, but without a way to even name rules it would be messy to manage.

here's the description straight off the gameplanning page
Hurry Up - Min remaining per score
In the 4th quarter, switch to the hurry up offense if you are down. A value of 3 will start hurry up at 3 minutes if down by 7. Hurry-up will call only pass plays and will always onside kick.

as you see it specifically says down by 7, if you were throwing every play it may have just been how your calls happened to land

It wasn't my run/pass percentage... It does the same thing at the end of the half depending on time and field position.

Actually 1 score is if you are down from 1 to 7 points. I will update the note on the game planning screen.

If you are in hurry up you should always go for it on 4th down. What is your hurry up setting set to?

There is actually a clause in the root that will stop you from going for it on 4th down if you still have timeouts, there's more than 1 minute remaining, and it's 4th and > 10.

I would think that clause should be changed to 2 mins remaining OR > 1 min + 3 TO's.

Agree, 2 TOs means you're at best probably going to hvae 15-20 seconds left if you get the ball back.
