First a disclaimer not sure what the tiebreakers are for when 2 teams have the same record in a conference.

That said the standings for the MFN 8

it shows both Detroit Lions and New York Giants as 11-5
If the game goes tiebreakers that are for 3rd teams with the same record which is I think Division Record , PF , PA , Def turnovers , Off turnovers that a user said in this thread in the 3rd message = http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/community/6/1462?page=0#8790
Then really Detroit Lions has the Division record , the PF and the PA over the New York Giants
Now if that doesn't apply to this and that really it goes to head to head in case they played each other then yes New York Giants were the right team because they did beat them

here is that game

btw the game was in the 5th week of the schedule if that helps to = http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/schedule

Now if this isn't a bug sorry for making this thread.

i believe playoff berths go
1. all division winners
2. wild cards (top 2 non-division winners in conference)

wild card determination
1. overall win/loss record
2. 1st tie-breaker head-to-head win/loss record
3. 2nd tie-breaker conference win/loss record

since Detroit lost to New York they lost the 1st tie-breaker

JDB posted this before just can't remember where I read it
