Benching a player in game

What's the possibility of employing an option for this. Say if my QB throws 3 int's to pull him and put in my backup, or say an injury that brings a players level for that particular injury below 70 to pull him for the game.

I for-see the problem may lay where if you have only 2 players at a position and they both get hurt below your set number, but there could be some way around this.
