Watch List / Tracking

I made a quick search, and there was a relatively similar thread way back when here: https://moguls.myfootballnow.com/community/5/1876?page=1#11714

Here's the setup: I actively use notes on prospective players before the league goes to Free Agency and during and with the Draft. I'd like to see something with the interface that shows who I have targeted rather than the collection of sticky notes (and the player note tab) I have to constantly keep up with (and I make a lot of notes).

The idea is simple, a "Watch" or "Track" button that can be selected which follows that player and sends Notifications for any activity pertaining to them. The information should come to a team's page directly, via the drop down menu under Players / Coaches tab. The information would be what we see can see on the Transactions, but isolated for only those players being tracked. Naturally, this would also include Positional Information that the above post was asking about as well. When a user is no longer interested in tracking this player, simply clicking that button again would remove any future notifications.

I would think this would be helpful to any active teams that use it, especially during the Draft, Free Agency, Trades, Injuries (if seeking a future trade), Release to Waivers, or Waivers Claims.

To expand on this suggestion, I would also purpose a practice squad. A 53 man roster is all well and good, but some great players came from a practice squad. It could be sorta used as an extension to one's roster so we could activate all 53 players on our roster, which, I believe, is more based on real life than having 45 players of your roster active. I mean, do inactive players really get better as the season progresses? (I'm being serious. My current roster is 46 players, I would like to know this, so I know if it's worth it to fill out my rosters) You look at the NFL today, their roster is really around 60 players. 53 active, and 7-10 on the practice squad.
