What about having a function allowing you to shortlist players and receive notifications about their activities?
Exmple scenario; Blowhawks have a WR I'm vaguely interested in. I see week 1 he gets an injury keeping him out for 3 weeks. I get notified of that.
Week 4 Blowhawks receive a trade offer for him. I get notified - I can now choose to make an offer myself.
That trade fails - yay. I get notified, can see the offer and have a better idea what Blowhawks may want for him.
End of season he gets released - I get notified he's a free agent so want to offer him a contract ASAP.
Free agents could be tracked in a similar manner - when a contract is offered you get notified.
I feel this could allow you to track player targets better than at present, allowing more info and thus more informed decision making. There should be a limit to the number of players you can shortlist at any one time; equally you should only get to track them for a maximum number of seasons. Maybe even noteworthy performances could generate notifications.
I'm aware this could increase the processing and load on the system.
