I do like to game on PS4 (yet to make a transition to xBox).

I'm looking at investing heavily in xBox X,,,,,and would like to hear from other gamers on here as a solution to have a an "add-on" for both systems to aid in storing games on external H-Drives. What I do not wish for is to having to purchase 2 separate external HD's for the sake of it.

Long Q short, is there a NAS or some type of storage area that can support both xBox games & PS games to store outside the consoles ?

I have a budget of about 1K Euro to spend on this, and have asked on other forums.

I did some deep digging on this, and eventually found that it is not possible to share external hardware between the consoles (PS4 & xBox X). Both have different encryption methods, and I'm guessing different file systems.

I was hoping to buy one large external storage unit for both systems, but apparently, it is a non-runner.
