How do you get a coach to sign with your team during free agency?

I am new and don't know much about the game yet.

Offer an upgrade in position (and maybe salary), if you do not sign an unemployed coach.

Coach Search -> select desired coach (must be lower than your desired position or unemployed) -> pop-up window -> red button contract ... rest is self explaining
