Lets just say I have a TE that I'd like to put in the slot position on 3rd & medium - Long. Apart from Future or current ratings, does he suffer any other kind of OOP (out of position).

Should be fine. That's what overrides are there for.

I know what overrides are...but this can also lead to added fatigue and essentially turnovers...

My Q is, if I play a good receiving TE at Slot or Flanker (apart from his WR ratings), does he get reduced in another way of playing out of position.

Just his positional experience will max a few points lower at the oop.
