Shady Play calling

I have noticed that our play calling matrix gets ignored during the 2 minute warning in the first half. Whether your winning or losing, the coach calls a run play until you need to punt or the half runs out. I have countered this with a rule that works with 2 minutes left in the half.

There is another occurrence when this starts happening. If you happen to have the lead, any lead even by just 1 point, somewhere near the end of the 3rd Q and all of the 4th Q, well the coach starts calling 95% up the middle run plays. This is fine if we have a two score lead, but I cant stand it when this happens with less than a TD lead and I need to punt when we should have competed for the first down and more time with the ball.

Has anyone else experienced this? I suppose I could write a rule for the second half that would fix this, but then would defeat the purpose of programming in the play call matrix. What do you guys suggest?

I've got rules to over-ride the computer's play-calling for the entire game. Just make sure you don't accidentally screw yourself, like calling a Long Pass from the 5 yard line because you didn't make a special case for inside the 25. The play animation was pretty funny though.

This is configurable via your 'hurry up' and 'slow down' settings under Misc Gameplanning.
