I was wondering how the new engine will effect the most important attributes by position.

I've been working on it. Not satisfied with my weights.

Some key things:

1) WR / TE - Route 90+ is a must. No more sticking the fastest guy on the outside if he doesn't have good route.

2) CB - M2M 90+ is a must. B&R 90+ is ideal (probably 60+ is a must). Stutter breaks down average cover plays as badly as it does bad cover players.

3) OLBs - If play coverage with your OLBs, M2M 90+ is ideal (80+ is probably a must) and B&R 90+ is ideal (probably 50-60+ is a must depending on how much you cover).

Speed is probably less important than M2M and B&R for DBs if the DB has a SP of 70+. Route is more important than SP at all SPs for WRs and TEs.

Thanks, Seth. That gives me a good start.

Adding another update to this thread. I haven't put together a full post yet, and I may not, but I know people are looking for updates:

QB
Accuracy 100
Intelligence 100
Arm 50
FOV 75
Scrambling 25

Intelligence now controls who the QB will throw to (remember before passing was first read and usually only one read). FOV allows the QB to see the field (100 FOV = 170 degree of vision). I still think that a minimum accuracy score of 70 is necessary and really closer to 80.

0.4.4 promises to clean up some of the drop problems, which are a result of current nerfs to balance out the long passing game, so look for catch % to improve in the next release.

For a QB comparison, I picked up a FA QB in The EFL that has greatly outperformed my first game starter in the same offense.

Slagel (current starter): https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/player/35 (82/82 my weights)
Sheppard (old starter): https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/player/4091 (77/80 my weights)
