Scouting

I don't thoroughly understand scouting an opponents plays, can somebody please enlighten me.

Selecting a play, means that your team will practice that play. And the familiarity will improve. Does selecting a play also give your team a boost for that specific play? Or does it only increase familiarity?

Yes - familiarity increases, and during the game you get a boost when you face plays you have scouted.

Sweet! This greatly helps an idea I have been playing around with to solve the heavy blitzing issue. I will post it on the suggestions forum shortly.

Thank you sir!

It seems the defensive familiarity with a play increases more slowly that offensive familiarity. But, how much does it really matter? I've read a few older posts and it sounds like there used to be a screen where you could see what plays your player was familiar with, but that's gone now?

It's still there, it's on the player page - but you must own a team in the league to see it (because it's showing you the player's familiarity with your playbook, not theirs)

Oh, now I see it. I don't think I ever clicked on that tab before.
