Volatility and Boom or Bust (The Blue Line)

I was not gonna post this here, but ultimately decided to.

Is the blue line the maximum that a player will boom?

When ppl say that a player busts, I have a difficult time wrapping my head around this. A guy can't bust if he is already a 42 OVR. If his potential says that he could possibly be a 75 (the blue line), then these guys are hoping for a boom anyway.

Maybe this will help clarify what I'm trying to find out:

If a guys is a 42/75 with Vol of 70 then he could go up to 75 possibly. Could he go higher than 75? Could he go lower than 42?
What about a guy that is a 45/65 with Vol of 100? Could he go higher than 65? Could he go lower than 45?
I understand that guys with low Vol are gonna be just about what it says they will be, give or take a few points.

Basically, I just wanted to know if I can take a 30/65 with Vol of 70 and expect him to possibly be better than 65, but no worse than 30?

as long as the there's blue future rating that hasn't been attained if the player booms that blue can go even higher. If there's a lot of blue and the player busts that blue will shrink. So while the player's current will get higher over time the player that booms will see his future rating (blue) climb. Say a player starts with a current m2m rating of 25/100 there is a lot more room to go down if he busts than a player with 65/100. If a player like this busts the lowest possible number he could go down is 65. That's why guys that are maxed out on future with high vol and low current are super risky. They can look like a whole different player when all is said and done

Talking overall it depends on your weights. Weighting static numbers will show smaller changes in overall while heavily weighting non static ratings will show larger changes 7n overall.
As well as changing a player position . As the closer they are to desired with the higher their overall will be.

And the ratings that change are pre determined .....the coaches have an influence on how quick they grow but the maximum a 100 volatility player will boom might be different in that route could go up 30 and ball carry 20.

A good way to measure that is the further the red is from the blue the larger the change will be .....Pending The higher the volatility is.
