QB Field of Vision

How much of this is being factored in our overall qb performance? His field vision is 66.Which seems low.I have other quarterbacks in other leagues with better field vision. They are performing better. My other skill sets are decent. But my qb seems too have a low field vision. He is not performing well at all.His qb rating is low threw 5 games. He has thrown only 1 td and has 5 int. He has a 63.07 pct qb rating. He has completed 54.3 pct of his passes. He has been sacked 11 times.Yet my head coach is passing off.I do have 1 veteran te on the roster. The rest of my wr are all under 3 yr exp.My offensive line is giving up 2 sacks a game.My pass blocking skills from my off linemen are above avg too at least avg .Are my inexperianced wr effecting his performance or is it from the bad field vision?

It could be all of the above. FOV impacts the QB's ability to identify defenders and also locate alternate targets. Poor WR's will not run their routes as well and will be easier for DB's to cover. And if your line doesn't block well, your QB will be rushed and not as accurate. Also, the longer your passes, the less successful they will be, so if you're game plan has lots of long or medium passes you'll have less success.

The route running skills are not maxed out and some are low.The same with pass catching skills. They are still developing as players.I am going too modify the playbook and see what happens.

In my opinion/experience, the talent at WR has a LOT to do with how well your QB will perform.

This absolutely. You'll routinely see teams trotting out 50-rated QBs throwing like Aaron Rodgers if they have a few top tier WRs on the roster.

I am finding out the more established Wr are more common in older leagues then new leagues. The brand new leagues drafting is hit or miss in training cap on older players. It looks like the Wr who are at least at max potential is the best way too draft.Unless you are trying too build for the future at the same time.Which is what i was trying too do in a new league.

Good old fashioned play calling has helped my 51 rated qb. His 43 FOV shows in some games. completely ingnoring up to 3 wide open targets and deciding to pull it down and run instead. Pressure adds to that decision alot with my team. But, really 60+ Comp% 90 rating from alot of short passes. 45% of my pass yards are to non wide receivers. Sacks suffer, as I turn possible blockers in to pass catchers, I predict 70+ sacks let up by my offense, but the pay off on miss matches are well worth it. My back is a 73, but WR1 is my old RB2. He has helped add a legit deep threat at 71 rating. TE is a 68 WR2 might be a 70 one day. But really no game breaker any where. My TE has 86 speed, every body else has like 50+ or 60+, and my QB with his best attribute is 56 accuracy has no trouble getting 60 or 70 yard gains against some teams.
