I know this question has been asked and answered over and over, but for the life of me I can still not understand the stats displayed in the gameplanning play selection screens/cards.

For example:

I picked a play at random.
1-1-3 WR Post

In the Offense play selection screen, this play shows 17 times called for an average of 2.7 yards/play.

In the Scout Offense play selection screen, this play shows 2 times called for an average of 27.6 yards/play.

Regardless of whether you are in the Offense play selection screen or the Scout Offense play selection screen, when you click on the play (and the play card pops up), the card shows 22 times called for an average of 1.8 yards/play.

Recap
Offense: 17 / 2.7 yards
Scout Off: 2 / 27.6 yards
Play Card: 22 / 1.8 yards
