Pass

How do I stop the pass? It is always eating me up and I'm not sure what to do. I'm constantly dropping many back into coverage but to no avail.

i would say pick plays on defense that defend the pass and/or make rules that keyed to pass and maybe those things will help

The simplest answer is to get to the QB before they can throw. I usually focus building my teams around having a strong secondary and a fast defensive line. Everything else comes secondary to that for me.

Only 2 ways I've found.

Check out MFN-7 Denver. I stop the pass by murdering the QB and anyone who has ever known him. I mean, to be honest my CBs are decent and my Safeties are really good too... I'm sure that helps... but it's the Sacks and Pressures that set it all up.

Check out MFN-73 Cleveland. I run Dime and Nickel only. I cover the field with 8 people in coverage... some of them not really good... and some how I do rather well not allowing passes. Works great if my Big Play Offense can get ahead and force the other team to throw into it. Works real poorly when the other team gets ahead and grinds out 8 Yards a Carry on me until the clock runs out.

Lellow does really well, he's improved to the point of playing for Championships.

He and I do differ on LBs though. I like fast LB that can Cover... and I have 3 of them (well, the MLB is only 75 Speed, but the other two are 100/100 guys). They do well helping to take away TEs and just generally get into passing lanes.

Fast LBs that can cover are great. But the real winner for me is LBs that have high punish. If they get in a passing lane, they can disrupt a lot of throws.
