Kick/Punt Returners

Looking for some advice here.

I would assume that you want a guy with a lot of ACC/SPD. But what does Kick Catching really do? I mean is it just how well he can catch it or what?

Just trying to gauge what I need to be looking for in an explosive returner.

ive noticed that kick catching is key on punt returns for fumbles and if he'll actually catch it or let it go. In my last game my returner let like 3 punts hit the ground and they ended up being long punts after the bounce. With the lack of punt returns now with the new code (which is way better than the many PR td's) i just use my best kick catch guy to make sure he secures the catch. It's all preference though

I recently redid my weights where I now focus on kick catching first, then SP and ball carrying.

The break down goes something like:

Kick Catch = 100
SP = 33
Carry = 16
Break Tackle and Avoid Fumble = 1

What I'm finding in the new code is that kick catching is vital because it means the return man can take off immediately. Low kick catching scores cause the return man to hesitate before running or **** the kick much more than in v.3.2

I somehow got two PR TDs out of this guy last game (for a team that I took over to experiment with offense): https://mfn70.myfootballnow.com/player/1167

Another Question on this one.

After looking my roster over, I'm seeing my Top 2 WR are my best options. How does this effect their Fatigue if I were to start one of them at KR/PR? Is it going to hurt their offensive production?

it will make them more tired and have a better chance of getting hurt but not significantly enough to abandon it. I would prefer a backup wr that has good catch catching punts since i rarely break them anyways so why even risk it. If none of my subs have the necessary skills then i'd put a starter there.

I'm more willing to gamble and put my best player back there unless I have a good reason not to (i.e. the backup KR/PR is almost as good as the best one).
