Fatigue by position

I'm about to go into my first preseason games with the ability to set fatigue by position. Any pointers/best practices out there from owners who have already been able to experiment with it?

I wish we could actually see how tired players are getting, it would give us a better idea of how to rotate our guys by position.

Do certain players/positions tire more quickly than others?

Old vs. young? (Old should tire more quickly.)

Defense vs offense? (D usually expends more energy, no?)

No. of plays vs distance running during a game? (WRs/RBs/DBs/LBs cover more ground than Lineman)

Everything is situational. I have a deep yet equally talented dline in MFN 1. I keep them on the lower end of the fatigue bar but that maybe 53 when sometimes i go as low as 44.

On the other hand when the majority of my dline starters are knicked up or out but i still need some consistent production i might bump up fatigue to 58 or 63-65 to ensure the number ones in the depth chart will be playing more often than not. Still these are safe measures in general.

For RB the numbers look reversed, but if my RB1 is knicked up i might limit his carries by using the lower fatgue numbers. Having numbers below the 40's wll rotate guys alot where ones above 60 will allow them to be on the feild more. Less than 60 and after two consecutive big plays out of your back and he most likely will be rotated.

I came here looking for answers to very similar questions.

Entering preseason, I have a few positions where I have a clear starter that I'm fine to let play 1Q, 2Q, 3Q then bench in game 4. Behind some of those starters though, QB, TE, DE, I have a couple of players I want to give equal snaps to once the starter sits. I don't know how to do that apart from by using position specific fatigue once the starter has been benched (though there's every chance this will mess with the snap count of my starters since the fatigue slider applies to all players all game).

I'm guessing the fatigue slider for QB needs to be vastly different to that of say, RB or CB. No idea by how much, or what a good number would be for each one.

If anyone has a solution to the above so I can get a good look at QB2 and QB3 in a game,, TE2/TE3, RB2/RB3, DT3/DT4, DE2/DE3 (4-3 defence), do let me know.

Formation subs is probably your best bet.
