Re: Times called: offensive plays

Talking about gameplanning, MY offensive and defensive plays. For example, if you look at my Jax team, 5WR filter, the play 5 WR Deep Ins, it shows on the main screen, 11.4 Avg called 9 times. On the popup it is 9.3 Avg, called 11 times.

1RB/4WR Quick Outs is another example from my Jax team. Main screen says called 1 time, popup says called 2 times.

1RB/1TE/3WR Flat Outs (I think), main page says 33 times called, popup says 37.

Just trying to give you more than one example in case something is wonky and it helps you track down whats going on.

I can confirm what you're seeing. I'll have to investigate and see what's going on.

Also, note on the Quick Outs play I mentioned, the familiarity bar shows at least 60%, but the popup shows that my offense has 0% familiarity. I've noticed quite a few of these disparities as well.

That was a great catch - it should be fixed. What happened with the play count is that the list in the gameplanning screen was only counting plays that didn't end in a turnover (which effectively eliminates the yards gained stat for that play) but the popup card was. I fixed the popup card to behave the same way as the gameplanning screens, so it should no longer show a greater count than the gameeplanning screen.

And good catch on the familiarity - I had a piece of debug code still there that was not presenting the offensive familiarity accurately. This has been fixed.

Wow, that was a fast fix! Glad you got it fixed though. Can you imagine how confused I was trying to read those things as a new player?!?! LOL It should make sense to me now. Thanks for looking into it and fixing it so fast!

I'm still a little confused by this.

For example.

Looking at my offensive playbook, the main page showing all the plays includes Post Flags with 9 times called and an average of 6.8.

However, when I click on that play, it shows 4 times called with an average of 5.1.

I thought these numbers should be the same when viewing my own playbook?

Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Also, it would be very helpful if we could somehow filter which games are used to calculate the times used and averages.

For example, in MFN 7 the averages for the running plays are pretty useless now that we can no longer run the ball like we were able to last season. I may see a play showing an average of 4.7 yards, for example, but in reality this season it is only averaging 1.7. It would be nice to know that so I can remove it from my available plays.

Thanks

It should match, which league are you seeing this in? I'll investigate and see why. I recently fixed a bug that caused it to not match but apparently there still is a way for it to not match.

I do have that in the feature list.
