Rules question

I'm not sure on the ruling, perhaps someone could confirm it's correct. Last play of the game, field goal attempt. Head Coach calls a timeout with 2 seconds remaining. Field goal unit trot on, make the field goal but get called for a false start.

Should it be

A: End of game, no re-kick as it's only on a defensive penalty that the game can't end.
B: Re-take the kick with a 5 yard penalty applied

Did the Zebras get it right?

I believe the false start would be a deadball foul, which means there are still 2 seconds left on the clock. 5 yard penalty and try the kick

But is a 5 or 10 second run off applied, thus ending the game?

First of all, you're assuming MFN uses the exact same rules as the NFL. MFN does not follow the NFL tiebreaking procedure to the letter, so it's possible they differ on rules as well.

I have never seen a 10 second runoff in MFN, at least not in the game logs. Besides, a dead ball foul does not incur a runoff, I saw it in a real NFL game in 2020. Runoffs are for fouls that occur during a running clock.
