This thread is inspired by the wacky plays thread. What dumb things have you done with your teams?

I read that some people were recommending a heavy blitz defense. So, I gameplan my defense using 2 (2+?) LB blitzing. I watch the games and notice a trend. The defense plays decent early in games but fails after the first half. After preseason and six games into the regular season, I discovered that my gameplan resulted in only TWO defensive plays being called the entire game. /facepalm

I had clinched homefield throughout the playoffs in week 15, so I played backups in week 16. Having a bye in wildcard, I had forgotten that I played all backups last game and did not reset my depth chart. Lost division round game.../facePUNCH.

This could be the 2nd best thread on the service next to The World of Wacky Plays.

in a conference championship i put in a rule to throw everytime when i got inside the 10 yard line since my opponent went heavy goal line against all formations. The rule i put in was perfect except it went from my goal line to opponents 10 yard line, lol. Safe to say i passed every single down of that game almost and didn't come out on top. One of the biggest blunders in my mfn experience :(

Over gameplan and try to be extremely detail oriented in games against Bryson..... and I get pummeled even worse XD

On a more actual note though, went goal line heavy against a team that was a rushing juggernaut in the postseason and had to play his backup QB. Tested him, and he lit me up in a shootout.... rip.

i was trying to gameplan where i would blitz out of the 4-3 and instead of had goalline defense in where i was blitzing and i had to play Bryson10 and boy did he make me pay for that mistake to the tune of he made and set so many records in that game.

it was in a league that got deleted if i am not mistaken
